Originally from Gaziantep, he was born in Berlin in 1975. He began his primary education in Germany and completed it at Gaziantep Akyol Primary School. After completing his secondary and high school education at Gaziantep Anatolian High School, he started attending Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and graduated as a Medical Doctor in 2001. That same year, he began his specialization at Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center. He completed his specialization as a Cardiac Surgery Specialist in 2007. He completed his public service obligation at Kırıkkale High Specialization Hospital between 2007-2009.

While working in Kırıkkale, he played a key role in initiating the first open heart surgery in Kırıkkale province and continuing it for two years. During this time, he worked intermittently with Prof. Dr. Johannes Bonnatti on Robotic Cardiac Surgery at the University of Innsbrück, Austria. He gained extensive experience in Robotic Cardiac Surgery. In 2009, he began working as an Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine. He was particularly active in the Heart Transplantation Clinic for four years. He currently follows numerous patients with heart failure, heart transplants, and artificial heart surgery in the region. During that time, he published over 200 national and international papers and articles. He became an Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery in 2013.

In 2015, he began working as the Secretary General of the Gaziantep Public Hospitals Association. During this period, he continued to actively perform open-heart surgeries. He notably performed all aortic dissections in the region at the Ersin Arslan Training and Research Hospital, which he transformed into a Training and Research Hospital. Upon completing his term as Secretary General in 2017, he began working as the Clinical Director of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at Dr. Ersin Arslan Training and Research Hospital. He holds three patents, one utility model, and a design registration in the medical field, primarily from 2017 onwards. In 2022, he became a Professor in his field at Mardin Artuklu University. He works at the Faculty of Medicine at Mardin Artuklu University some days a week and continues to work with patients in Gaziantep on other days.
His specialty is "AORTIC SURGERY," a field he has been passionately practicing for many years.

He also performs almost all of his valve and bypass surgeries using a closed approach (without cutting the sternum). He and his team travel abroad on certain days of the month upon invitation for "CLOSED HEART SURGERY."
